Kannada actor Yash is currently in negotiations for his second Hindi project, and earlier he even stated his wish to collaborate with star Shah Rukh Khan. The actor has already secured his place in Bollywood with the ambitious production Ramayana, which is to be directed by Nitesh Tiwari.
According to an earlier report in the Hindustan Times, the K.G.F. star would start his career in the Hindi industry by playing the role of Ravana in Tiwari's cinematic retelling of the epic. Reports suggest that Yash has demanded between ₹100 and ₹150 crore for the project. As a result of the popularity of the K.G.F. franchise, the actor is aware that he has amassed a significant number of followers among those who enjoy watching Hindi films. According to a source, this is one of the reasons why he is delighted to enter the Bollywood industry and enlarge his existing network.
On the contrary, the actor is not in the mood to take things easy. A source told the leading daily that in addition to filming Ramayana and the next instalment of K.G.F., he is already in discussions with Shah Rukh Khan's production studio for his second Hindi film feature, which is an action project. At this same moment, they have already had a conversation with the actor about the creative ideas.
The insider stated that Yash likes it and wants to see how it turns out, adding that a collaboration with SRK might be in the works. However, they need the right project, as it will come with a lot of expectations, and they don't want to disappoint their fans. They want to carefully consider the move.
Speaking of his upcoming movie, Yash will play the lead role in Toxic, which Geetu Mohandas will direct. The announcement was made in 2023, and the film is produced by KVN Productions. Toxic is set for a big-screen release on April 10, 2025.
