Yash 19: Rocking Star Yash's most awaited film to get going in October? Here's an interesting update

Well, we are back here for the nth time to discuss the status of Yash 19, the film that Rocking Star Yash is meant to headline as a follow-up to his monumental success KGF 2. The actor has been away from the limelight almost entirely since that film released which is more than 15 months ago, and needless to say, his fans have grown incredibly restless over time. Back in January, though, on his 37th birthday, Yash himself addressed this matter and urged everyone to provide him with some more time because, by his admission, he was busy putting together something special. 

Interestingly, that social media post remains the actor's latest formal announcement about Yash 19. Of course, in the meantime, one has encountered several reports of him opting to collaborate with Malayalam filmmaker Geetu Mohandas on a project and that it would certainly be worth all the wait endured by his supporters.

At a launch event held recently in Malaysia, Yash, the guest of honour, shared that Yash 19 may not be massive or on par with what one imagines, but it would most definitely be a good product.

And now, a couple of weeks later since that update has emerged from the man himself, an interesting social media post attempts to shed light on the development. A Twitter user, whose handle clearly reveals that they are a massive fan of the Rocking Star, has shared a bunch of info.to assert that the much-anticipated update is probably around the corner. The credibility of these claims is, of course, questionable at this point but it is good enough, nevertheless, to humour ourselves a little.

The first bit that catches our attention about these claims is that Geetu Mohandas, as speculated, would be directing Yash 19. KVN Productions will produce this film which, apparently, is set to go on floors in the month of October (2023) in Sri Lanka. And the announcement of this mega project will be made at a big event planned somewhere outside India, with the team planning on unveiling the title through a concept poster. Many Hollywood technicians, too, are to be part of this project and don't worry about the genre of Yash 19 just as yet, because the same Twitter user warns us that it is something we 'can't imagine'.

Of course, fellow Twitterati was slightly sceptical in believing the claims and many of them even inquired about the source dispensing all the information. The user identifies as a part of the VFX department that's currently employed by the makers of Yash 19, but it is best to use your own discretion in such matters!
