Yamraj Calling trailer: Deven Bhojani forgets to live life till death comes knocking

How many times did you think about what you are doing with your life during the COVID-19 pandemic? Did you not forget to live life while worrying about the future? While that was necessary, imagine a man who forgets to live life in order to secure his family’s future. Deven Bhojani plays that man in ShemarooMe’s upcoming series Yamraj Calling.

More often than not, men, especially from middle-class families, forget to live in the present in order to give their family a secure future. They stress out every day, forget something as valuable as even time, all in order to earn that extra buck to feed their families. Deven represents those men as he faces turmoil with his family members in Yamraj Calling.

The concept could not have been clearer as Deven is heard saying that he has just started living when Yamraj came to warn him that he has two days left till death. Niillam Paanchal as the Yamraj says that is a common problem in humans - they start living only when they realise their death is near.

Deven has been a part of various projects but he is best remembered for his roles in Khichdi, Baa Bahu Aur Baby and Sarabhai vs Sarabhai. He has also helmed Vidyut Jammwal’s Commando 2.

Directed by Dharmessh Mehta, the series also stars Deepak Gheewala, Mazel Vyas, Meet Shah and Manan Desai in pivotal roles. Yamraj Calling is a first-of-its-kind Gujarati web series. It is slated to release all the episodes on November 18 on ShemarooMe.
