Yami Gautam and Pratik Gandhi promise unique comedic experience in Dhoom Dhaam; film to stream on Netflix

Pratik Gandhi and Yami Gautam will soon share screen space in the upcoming action-comedy Dhoom Dhaam, produced by Yami's husband, Aditya Dhar. The makers officially announced the film today, January 19, and shared the first poster featuring the lead actors. 

Dhoom Dhaam announced

Netflix took to their official Instagram account and shared the first poster of the upcoming action comedy film, Dhoom Dhaam, starring Yami Gautam and Pratik Gandhi. The film will stream on Netflix, however, the release date is still under wraps.

The poster features Yami and Pratik as the bride and groom. While Yami plays the role of Koyal Chadda, hailing from Mumbai, Pratik plays the role of Dr. Veer, a Gujju boy. Their pictures have been added to the marital section of the newspaper as they are searching for a life partner.

Sharing the first poster, the makers captioned it, "Don’t DM us for rishtas kyunki humari shaadi “Dhoom Dhaam” se hone vaali hai."

In the poster, we can see Yami's character is searching for a groom and for the details, it is written, "Koyal Chadda (Mumbai), Marriageable age. Sanskaari, spiritual, and homely girl. Looking for a susheel family oriented groom. Marriage is a wild ride and I'm not a passenger princess If my doggy likes you, then rishta pakka samjho."

On the other hand, Pratik's character is searching for a bride and for his details, it is written, "Dr Veer, 29, Gujju Boy. Vet. Want to retire from bachelor life, so looking for Mrs. Right. Living in DRY state (Ahmedabad roxx) but ready to intoxicate you with unconditional love. "Adventure" is my middle name. Will garba right into your heart." 

Yami Gautam on Dhoom Dhaam

During an earlier media interaction, Yami once shared details about Dhoom Dhaam. She said that Dhoom Dhaam is a comedy. Aditya has produced it along with his brother Lokesh and the comedy will be unique. On the other hand, she praised Pratik Gandhi and called him a very talented actor. 

The film is directed by Rishab Seth and produced by Aditya Dhar. Dhoom Dhaam is expected to be released in 2025.
