Yakshini is the latest web series from the production house of Arka Media, the makers of Baahubali. The fantasy drama is all set to start streaming on June 14, 2024, on Dinsey + Hotstar. The trailer was revealed recently, and it caught the imagination of one and all.
Ajay to play a key role in Hotstar's Yakshini web series
Some popular names from Telugu and Tamil cinema are playing key roles in this series which has been directed by Teja Marini. Now, the latest update is that talented actor Ajay will be seen in a very gripping role in the film. He plays a tantrik in the series and brings a lot of depth to the series.
Speaking about his role, Ajay says Yakshini came to him when he was planning to do something very different, and when he was offered the role, he grabbed it with both hands. Manchu Lakshmi is also seen in a crazy role in this series, which is headlined by Vedhika.

Vedhika and Manchu Lakshmi play key roles in Yakshini web series
This is her big break after a long gap. She looks serene in the trailers but also has a ferocious side to her characters. The special aspect of Yakshini is that it will stream in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, Bengali, and Marathi on Hotstar. This itself shows what kind of craze fantasy dramas have on OTT.
The producers from Arka Media, Shobu Yarlagadda, have spent a bomb on the series and say that the visuals in the series will be no less than that of a big-budget fantasy drama made in Bollywood. The trailer provides a look into the enthralling tale of Vedika, a Yakshini ensnared by the spell of love, who transforms into a man-eating creature following a string of tragic events.
Speaking about the same, Ajay says that the twists and turns will leave you spellbound. The actor adds that the way all the episodes end on a cliffhanger is the best part of Yakshini. Hotstar is also planning a special event to promote the series in the days to come.
Yakshini also releases along with yet another popular series, Paruvu, which also releases on the same date of June 14, 2024. We need to see which of these series manages to score the winning run when they start streaming.
