Yakshini - Manchu Lakshmi to play a unique role in the Disney+ Hotstar series? Here's what we know

Disney + Hotstar has announced a Telugu web series titled Yakshini. The first look poster was released, and it showcases Tamil actress Vedhika playing the lead role in the series. Baahubali fame Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni are producing this series, which also has Laksmi Manchu in a key role, and the same was also announced by the makers.

Enjoy 20 OTT platforms streaming South content including SunNXT, aha, ManoramaMAX, ZEE5 and more at just ₹75.

Manchu Lakshmi plays a key role in Yakshini

We have now come to know that Lakshmi Manchu will be seen in a crazy role in this series, and her character will have negative shades as well. It has been quite some time since we saw Lakshmi Manchu on screen, and she makes a comeback with Yakshini, which is being directed by Teja Marini.

Manchu Lakshmi is super excited to shoot for her role as it gives her a lot of scope to perform. The shoot of the series has already begun, and Lakshmi will join the sets soon.

Hotstar announces Yakshini with Vedhika in a lead role

Vedhika plays the lead role, and this is a massive opportunity for her as Arka Media; the producers are known for their solid scripts and the way they select actors and stories for their films. After making big money with Baahubali, producers Shobu and Prasad did not rush and made back-to-back films. They are taking their own time to make films and have now come up with this series.

Rahul Vijay, who played the lead role in Aha's latest release, Vidya Vasula Aham, is also a key character in this series, which has a blend of romance, comedy, and fantasy. Each of the characters in this series is going to be super special, and the makers are also spending a bomb on this series, as per the news.

Yakshini is being mounted on a massive scale and we have come to know that there will be a lot of VFX in the series. A popular VFX company in Hyderabad has been hired for the same by the makers. The release date of Yakshini will be out soon. Watch this space for more updates.
