What is Yaavarum Vallavare about?

Yaavarum Vallavare is a social drama that talks about the perils of the caste system and how society continues to oppress those on the lower rungs of the ladder. The film highlights how caste identity never leaves a person and follows them to the graveyard.

The film also stars Yogi Babu, Riythvika, Arunthathi, Ramesh Thilak, Naan Kadavul Rajendran, Ilavarasu, Devadarshini, Mayilsami, Bose Venkat, Joe Malluri, Poster Nandakumar, Cheran Raj and others. From the trailer of the film, it appears that it attempts to deal with the problems one faces in order to bury a deceased person. The central conflict arises from the chaos that unfolds around the funeral arrangements of a soldier killed in action. While the village gets ready to bid goodbye to the slain soldier, worthy of his valour, the efforts are marred by the politics of hate and caste.
