After a couple of changes in plans, team Yaanai is set for a big release on July 1. The film directed by Hari and starring Arun Vijay in the lead will be released in Telugu as well under the title Enugu. The team had released its trailer a month ago, offering a glimpse into the film's story.

Now, they have come up with a promo video titled "new glimpse" which hints at the movie being a full-fledged action entertainer as promised by the makers. Arun Vijay is seen taking on baddies in different ways, and a few shots from all the action sequences have been included in the promo.

Yogi Babu, who plays Arun's friend, Samuthirakani, who essays his brother's role and Priya Bhavani Shankar, who has been paired opposite him, appear in the promo. Radhika Sarathkumar, "KGF" Ram, Ammu Abhirami and Gangai Amaren are others who are seen in the new promo.

Yaanai marks Arun Vijay's return to the silver screen after more than two-and-a-half years. Karthick Naren's Mafia: Chapter 1, which was released before the pandemic was his last theatrical outing. Oh My Dog, which brought him and his son Arnav together, had a direct release on Amazon Prime Video a few months ago.

GV Prakash has composed music for the movie; this is the first time the musician-turned-actor has collaborated with Hari and Arun. Anl Arasu's stunt choreography is said to be one of the highlights of the movie which has cinematography by Gopinath and editing by Anthony.

Vedikkaranpatti S Sakthivel has bankrolled Yaanai under Drumsticks Productions. Baba Baskar and Dhina have jointly choreographed action scenes for the project which has art direction by Micheal. The movie will release along with Madhavan's Rocketry and Arulnithi's D Block on Friday.
