Yaanai actor Arun Vijay drops the latest update on his father Vijay Kumar's health

There has been a buzz on social media that veteran actor Vijay Kumar has been unwell. As the rumour began to spread, his son, popular actor Arun Vijay decided to put an end to the same and took to his social media handle to clarify that his father is well and asked his fans to not believe in rumours.  He shared a picture with his father and wrote on his social media handle, "To all my friends, family and fans.. Appa is hale and HEALTHY at home. Kindly do not believe any rumors! Thank you for all your concern and love! (sic)."

Arun Vijay is currently working on AL Vijay's upcoming film Acham Enbathu Illaye which marks the comeback of Amy Jackson to Tamil cinema. Interestingly, it was Vijay who had introduced Amy Jackson to Tamil cinema with Madrasapattinam. Nimisha Sajayan plays the second leading lady. The shoot for the film is being held in London. Arun Vijay had taken to his social media handle to share his excitement about collaborating with the director. He had written, "Really happy to collaborate with #DiriectorVijay for my next  #AchamEnbathuIllayae alongside @iamAmyJackson, for a @gvprakash Musical!!The fearless Journey Begins in London!! @NimishaSajayan Prod by @SSSMOffl Rajashekar & Swathi @DoneChannel1 @shiyamjack (sic)."

In the meantime, we hear that Arun Vijay has replaced Suriya in Bala's Vanangan. Suriya had opted out of the film earlier this month after creative differences cropped up between Suriya and his mentor Bala. The duo agreed to part ways on mutual terms. By then, almost 30 per cent of the shoot had been completed.
