WWE returned to Edinburg, Texas, this Saturday for a house show that featured all the top stars from SmackDown. In a rare and exciting move, the promotion booked a match that fans hadn't seen in nearly two decades.

Rare match after a long time

This was the first time in 16 years that WWE had booked such a match, and it was a huge hit with the crowd. The fans were on their feet cheering throughout the entire contest, and it was a truly special moment.

This decision is the prove that they are listening to their fans and giving them what they want. It is also a sign that WWE is committed to putting on the best possible shows for their fans, regardless of whether it is a televised event or a house show.

The first match was between Bobby Lashley and Santos Escobar. Interestingly, this is the first match of Lashley and Escobar on a house show, after 2 decades.

Lashley and Carlitio

Lashley and Carlitio's feud is shaping up to be Carlitio's first major storyline after his return, following their promo two weeks ago on SmackDown. The LWO and Street Profits rivalry is also gaining momentum, with the potential to become one of the top faction feuds in the company.

For the unversed, WWE has arranged their annual show Crown Jewel, this November in Saudi. The show is supposed to be hosted at the Muhammad Abdo Theater in Riyadh, which has a seating capacity of 22,000.

Surprisingly, the news made so much buzz on the internet that the company sold out all tickets within a few hours. Hence, later they announced to arrange more seats for WWE crazy fans.
