Actress Vahbiz Dorabjee has always exhibited versatility as an actress. Be it ‘Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahani’, ‘Savitri’, ‘Saraswatichandra’, or even ‘Bahu Hamari Rajni Kant’, she has always stood out for her acting skills. The actress, who had tested waters in the OTT space with her web show ‘Showbiz’, is now all set to stage a grand comeback, after being away for a couple of years. The actress is extremely vocal about the ‘inhuman act’ of making any child to work.

OTTplay caught up with Vahbiz Dorabjee for an exclusive conversation on the occasion of ‘World Day Against Child Labour’. When we asked her about the reasons which, she feels are responsible for people forcing kids to work, she said, “The main reason for child labour is that most people are not educated and live an impoverished life and lifestyle. Since everybody needs to feed their stomach; they think ‘more the hands in the family, more money they will get’. That’s why, they make the child also work, either individually or along with them.”

When asked about the steps that she thinks that the government can adopt to stop child labour, Vahbiz said, "There should be strict guidelines and many more government-run schools. Education should be a must because, when you are educated, your entire mentality is different. A lot of strict actions should be taken against the culprits. It's totally very unfair to make a child work. That kind of person should be immediately arrested. Strong laws must be implemented to stop child labour."

On the professional front, Vahbiz Dorabjee revealed that, soon, there will be a great news from her on the work front. ]
