Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha have been busy with responsibilities that come with their new life as husband and wife. They tied the knot on September 24. They had a lavish ‘Pearl White Indian Wedding’ in Udaipur. Many celebs, including politicians (Raghav has been an important part of AAP), attended the ceremony. Parineeti and Raghav got married almost four months after their engagement. They exchanged rings on May 13.

Delhi and Chandigarh wedding receptions cancelled?

Parineeti and Raghav wanted to hold wedding receptions for their friends and families in Delhi and Chandigarh. However, a source told News18 that they remain cancelled. Raghav wanted to host the party in Delhi for his politician friends. He also wanted the party in Chandigarh for his peers.

An all-inclusive Mumbai reception?

The source confirms that the two receptions are cancelled to host a bigger reception in Mumbai. The party, we hear, will take place on October 4. Since it is being hosted in Mumbai, major Bollywood celebs are expected to be a part of the bash. Most of Parineeti’s co-stars (Arjun Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Sidharth Malhotra and possibly Ayushmann Khurrana) are expected to be a part of the big day.

Will Priyanka attend the reception?

Parineeti’s cousin Priyanka Chopra Jonas is likely to miss the wedding reception, much like the wedding itself. Priyanka had to skip the wedding owing to work commitments, which we hear, are still in the works. Her mother Madhu Chopra, however, was a part of the wedding. Priyanka had attended Parineeti and Raghav’s reception in May.

Raghav and Parineeti got married in The Leela, Udaipur, in an intimate ceremony. The pre-wedding began in Delhi, where they held Sufi night and ardas. Their mehendi ceremony took place on September 23, followed by the sangeet ceremony. The couple then tied the knot on September 24.
