Variety has exclusive knowledge of the release date, new teaser trailer, and additional casting for Paramount+'s upcoming original series Wolf Pack.
It was announced by Paramount+ at New York Comic Con that Wolf Pack would debut on January 26, 2023, the same day as Teen Wolf: The Movie.
The streamer revealed that Bailey Stender, Chase Liefeld, Hollie Bahar, Lanny Joon, Rio Mangini, Stella Smith, Zack Nelson, and James Martinez have joined the show in recurring roles in addition to previously announced cast members such as Sarah Michelle Gellar, Armani Jackson, Rodrigo Santoro, Bella Shepard, and more.
Amy Pietz, Bria Brimmer, John L Adams, and Sean Philip Glasgow are among the supporting actors.
The announcement was made at the joint Teen Wolf: The Movie and Wolf Pack event hosted by Paramount+ at New York Comic Con. The later panel included a discussion between the show's creator and executive producer Jeff Davis and the actors Tyler Lawrence Gray, Gellar, Santoro, Jackson, Shepard, and Chloe Rose Robertson.
The show is based on the Edo Van Belkom novel series, which centres on a boy and a girl in their twenties who witness the appearance of a supernatural monster during a wildfire in California. The two, along with two other adolescents, who were hurt during the commotion, discover they had been bitten by a werewolf.
Davis has a multi-year contract with MTV Entertainment Studios that includes Wolf Pack. He is writing and producing the Teen Wolf movie for Paramount+. Executive producers for Capital Arts include Joe Genier, Mike Elliott, and Karen Gorodetzky in addition to Davis.
Christian Taylor, Gellar, and Jason Ensler all serve as producers.
The show will have its official debut on January 26 in the United States and Canada, and on January 27 in the United Kingdom, Australia, and Latin America. Dates for the premieres in other foreign markets will be announced later.
