The fifth and final season of The Bold Type is ready to roll out its premiere episode next Wednesday on Freeform. Hulu subscribers can view the show on Thursday, May 27.
Netflix users could view the previous four seasons of the show, earlier this year for fans to binge-watch this loved series. However, there has been no update on the latest and final season making its way on Netflix.
Since the final season is the shortest of the lot with just six episodes as compared to ten or sixteen episodes in the previous seasons, fans are waiting eagerly for the season to drop. The final episode of the series will be airing on June 30.
The production for season 4 stopped abruptly in 2020 due to the pandemic, leaving out two episodes from the season.
Reacting to the upcoming final season of the hit show, the cast gave out messages increasing the curiosity among fans. Katie Stevens, who plays the role of Jane Sloan, opened up about the six-episode final season. “We just hope you see this last season as the love letter it was intended to be,” she said.
“You will feel satisfied, but not in that Disney fairy tale kind of way where it’s just wrapped up,” actor Stephen Conrad Moore, who plays Oliver Grayson, teased the fans. “I think it’s satisfying in the way of, ‘This is how life is.’ Life is incomplete at times, life is hopeful,” she shared.
The trailer for the fifth season was released on May 7, last week on YouTube.
