Sunny Deol was showered with praise after delivering a solid performance in Gadar 2 in 2023. The movie is a blockbuster and is a sequel to Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, following Tara Singh (Sunny Deol) as he returns to Pakistan to rescue his son Jeete (Utkarsh Sharma), who is captured by the Pakistani army, all set against the backdrop of the 1971 Indo-Pakistani war. Now, Sunny is gearing up for the release of Jaat and Lahore 1947. In a new interview, the actor expressed excitement about working with Aamir Khan in Lahore 1947 as the latter is the producer of the film.

At the trailer launch event of Jaat, Sunny Deol was asked about Lahore 1947. The Aamir Khan Productions' film will be directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. From Lahore 1947, the audience is expecting nothing less than Gadar 2 or even more success than the latter.
During the trailer launch, Sunny said, "I was hoping to do big films, and it's happening now. Lahore 1947 is coming this year."

Meanwhile, as per reports, after 70 days of intense work, the shooting of the film Lahore 1947 has been completed. The schedule was completed without any breaks. A unique experience in this film is the magical qualities of the innovative actors.

Talking about the film, Sunny had previously said, "This journey of this film had begun during Gadar 2. We all were very excited about it, we were about to start a beautiful film, and after following many directors, Gopi agreed to do the film."
Meanwhile, Jaat will hit theaters on April 10, 2025.
