Wild Wild Punjab teaser - Varun Sharma, Sunny Singh, Manjot Singh, Jassie Gill promise breakneck adventures and endless laughter

Four best friends, one breakup, and the biggest road trip of their lives—now that's what you call an adventure. Netflix has announced their upcoming film, Wild Wild Punjab, which brings four "gabru jawans" together, played by Varun Sharma, Sunny Singh, Manjot Singh, and Jassie Gill. Netflix dropped the teaser for the film, offering a glimpse into the wild adventure the four friends gear up for after one of them experiences a break.

Breakups, bromance, and breakneck adventures

In the film, a gang of inebriated boys decides to get even with a friend's breakup by showing up at his ex-wedding's reception. A daring and spontaneous idea for a "breakup trip" takes flight, ushering in unexpected escapades in this bewildering country known as "Wild Wild Punjab!"

Producers promise a laughter riot

Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg, the producers of the film, said in a statement that Wild Wild Punjab is bringing a brand new level of comedy to Netflix, and its creators are promising viewers an unforgettable experience. At Luv Films, they strive to always bring laughter, joy, and entertainment to audiences. Wild Wild Punjab is taking things to the next level in terms of wildness and fun-o-metre! Friendship, brotherhood, and everything Punjabi are the themes of this film.

Simarpreet Singh has helmed the film, which will soon premiere on Netflix, but the makers have yet to announce the release date.

Back in 2021, it was reported that this project was planned to launch his production career in 2015, but it got delayed because of unanticipated things. The creators of Udta Punjab aimed to maintain a significant temporal separation between the two projects when they made them. The producer has assembled a whole new ensemble to breathe new life into his first feature film.

Sunny Singh, Ishita Raj Sharma, Manjot Singh, Patralekhaa, Varun Sharma, and Varun lead the film's cast. Sunny and Ishita had previously collaborated with Luv Ranjan on Pyaar Ka Punchnama.
