Just after announcing the release date on Netflix, the makers dropped a new poster for Wild Wild Punjab. The comic caper starring Varun Sharma, Sunny Singh, Manjot Singh, Jassie Gill, Patralekhaa, and Ishita Raj is all set to premiere on July 10, 2024. Now, after giving a glimpse into what the film is about, the makers have dropped the first look at the leading ladies, Patralekhaa and Ishita.

The new poster portrays Patralekhaa as an authentic Punjabi kudi. On the other hand, she shows her hippie-stylish side in the film. The poster showcases the film's male leads against a flower-decorated car backdrop. According to the poster, it appears that the journey they set out on is to go to Pathankot.

The makers promise Wild Wild Punjab is a must-watch because of its atmosphere, which emphasises that friendship may cure all heartbreaks. Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg produce the blatantly comedic romp Wild Wild Punjab, which Simarpreet Singh helms.

Plot overview

In the film, Khanne's (Varun Sharma) relationship has ended. Thus, his friends Arore (Sunny Singh), Jainu (Jassie Gill), and Honey Paaji (Manjot Singh) urge him to confront the breakup directly and go on, even if he is upset. The film shows these friends take a "break-up trip" around Punjab in the hopes of giving Khanne the closure he needs.

A teaser for the film dropped earlier this year; it began with four friends going on a wild adventure to get back with their friend's ex. What follows is a whirlwind of mayhem, complete with shooting, fights, blood, and hilarious banter among the buddies.

Production history

Wild Wild Punjab was reportedly Luv Ranjan's first production venture, which he announced in 2015. Nevertheless, Luv Ranjan chose to delay the production until the 2016 release of Udta Punjab in order to keep some distance between the two films, which dealt with similar Punjab-based topics.
