Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is one of the most anticipated Bollywood films of 2024. Starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff in the lead roles, this film promises to be the best action thriller of the year. Ahead of the film’s much-awaited release on the festival of Eid in April 2024, Vashu Bhagnani – father of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan producer Jackky Bhagnani, recently shared why Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff are a part of the film despite the actors’ previous flops.
Vashu Bhagnani details the casting process of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan
Speaking to Bollywood Hungama recently, Vashu Bhagnani – father of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan producer Jackky Bhagnani, recently shared the problems faced while casting actors for the film. Vashu said that it was “not easy to pull off a casting coup of this sort”.
At first, Vashu approached Ali Abbas Zafar who he feels is one of the best in business. “Moreover, we have a deep bond with Akshay. He is like a family (member). Also, Jackky is very close to Tiger Shroff. So, we all trusted each other in the process and soon, the film became bigger and better. When these three greats came together, the film’s hype went many notches higher,” said Vashu.
When asked whether he acknowledged the actors’ previous flops before casting them for Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Vashu simply said, “It all depends from film to film. And they are both brilliant actors. Thus, such histories do not matter.”

Tiger Shroff was last seen in the movie Ganapath in 2023 which flunked at the box office miserably. Akshay was seen last in Mission Raniganj, which too, failed to perform well at the box office.
When will the Bade Miyan Chote Miyan trailer be out?
Recently, multiple reports claimed that Bade Miyan Chote Miyan's trailer will be released on March 26, 2024. Only time will tell where the truth lies. Also, as per the latest promotions of the movie, Alaya F and Manushi Chhillar are the female leads of the film.
