Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is not just known for his stellar acting skills, but also for his fantastic fitness. Time and again, he is spotted motivating people about the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Today is one such day when he emphasized the importance of maintaining fitness and recalled his experience during the shoot of his 2016 film, Airlift.
Dropping a tweet today, the 55-year-old actor recalled how difficult it is to carry out rescue operations in war-torn areas. He even thanked the makers of the movie, Airlift, who gave him the opportunity to be a part of such a film wherein he essayed the role of a common man who decides to save people from a war-torn country. This role in the movie had put his fitness to the test.
Not only this, but Kumar also hailed Operation Ganga documentary which emotes a similar sentiment – rescuing people from war-torn countries. The documentary is primarily focused on how Indian Government worked day and night to rescue people from crisis hit Ukraine on an emergency basis.
“Holiday for me means getting some time to watch good content with my kids. Just watched this excellent documentary on Operation Ganga, the mission to rescue Indian students from Ukraine after the war began. I have goosebumps. After doing a film like Airlift, I now know what it takes to do such large scale rescue operations. Massive respect for all those who made it possible. If someday I get to make a film on Operation Ganga, I’d consider myself lucky. Do watch it. You’d feel so much pride,” tweeted Akshay Kumar today.
With this tweet, social media users seem convinced that Akshay Kumar is likely to feature in a film promoting Operation Ganga soon.
Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar will be seen next in a theatrical movie titled OMG2. This movie is slated to be released on August 11 and will also feature actors Pankaj Tripathi, Yami Gautam, and Arun Govil in crucial roles.
