Karan Johar's playful post grabs attention

A while ago, Karan Johar, who last directed Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh, took to his Instagram story and dropped a fun post. Shedding light on his relationship with Instagram, he revealed 'what’s not to love it'. His post read, "I am dating Instagram! It listens to me...makes me follow my dreams and even pays some bills! Karan is often seen taking a dig at himself and he is quite aware of the social media trolling that he is subjected to. Recently, he shut down trollers with his cool t-shirt. He wore a white sweatshirt that had 'Nepo Baby' written on it. He was seen exiting an event in the city. After Kangana Ranaut gave him the title of 'flagbearer of nepotism' during her appearance on Koffee With Karan, the term got attached to him.

Recently, Karan backed Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina's film Jigra, but it didn't perform well at the box office. Despite receiving praise, the audience didn't accept the film. After its OTT debut in December 2024, cinema lovers were seen lauding Vasan Bala's directorial. 

Next, Karan has joined forces with Kartik Aaryan, yes the rift is finally over between them. On Christmas 2024, they announced a rom-com titled Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri. Backed by KJo and helmed by Sameer Vidwans, the film will hit theatres in 2026. Karan recently also announced Ananya Panday and Lakshya's Chand Mera Dil.
