The White Lotus returns February, Harry Potter series set for 2027—HBO unveils premiere dates for fan favourites

Warner Bros. Discovery's worldwide streaming chief, JB Perrette, announced that fans would be able to finally watch White Lotus Season 3 in February 2025. Wells Fargo hosted a media and technology conference on Tuesday, where the executive made the announcement.

Other topics covered included HBO's plans to launch The Last of Us Season 2 in the spring of 2025, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, a prequel to Game of Thrones, in late 2025, and the highly anticipated debut of Euphoria Season 3 in 2026. Despite Perrette's summer announcement, Variety has heard that Knight of the Seven Kingdoms would most likely be a fourth-quarter release.

Harry Potter TV series slated for 2027

Also, Perrette said that the new Harry Potter TV series from HBO, which is presently casting for the roles of Ron, Hermione, and Harry, will not premiere until 2027. The ten-year Harry Potter series, about which they are extremely enthusiastic, begins in '26 and continues into '27. When they reach that series, he thinks it may be the most important event.

White Lotus Season 3: Themes and setting

Earlier while talking about The White Lotus, creator Mike White had said that the focus shifted from money in the first season to sex in the second. The third season could take a light-hearted, satirical look at spirituality, religion, and death in the East. Returning to White Lotus seems like it could be a very rewarding experience.

On the other hand, Casey Bloys spoke about Euphoria Season 3 by informing reporters at a press event hosted by HBO and Max on Tuesday that filming had begun. He believes they have a start date from the middle to the end of January, and very little has changed since then.
