Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth left everyone surprised with their engagement news. Before their special day, the couple didn't make an official announcement and it led to speculations of their wedding. A few days later, the duo revealed that they exchanged rings in a private ceremony. Only their close friends and family members attended the engagement ceremony. Now, at the Galatta Golden Stars event, Siddharth spoke about their engagement and addressed the question of his impending wedding with Aditi.

At the event, Siddharth was asked how long it took for Aditi Rao Hydari to say yes to marriage. The actor said that he shouldn't be asked such questions as he feels the result for him must be either yes or no and pass or fail. Although he was worried, Siddharth 'luckily' passed as Aditi said yes.
As far as their wedding is concerned, the actor added, "The wedding date will depend on the elders (of the family) and what they say. It isn’t like a shooting date I can decide on, it’s a lifetime date. It will happen at the right time once they decide."

Siddharth and Aditi Rao Hydari met on the set of their 2021 Telugu film Maha Samudram. It was speculated that the duo fell in love during the shoot of their film. As they travelled together during the film's promotions, it led to rumours of their relationship. Ever since, Siddharth and Aditi made several public appearances. And the couple confirmed their relationship status only when they got engaged.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Siddharth will next be seen in Shankar's Indian 2. The actor will be seen alongside Kamal Haasan, Kajal Aggarwal and Rakul Preet Singh. On the other hand, Aditi is gearing up for the release of Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. Helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the series will drop on Netflix on May 1, 2024.
