Actress-TV host and model Malaika Arora was in Bengaluru for a brand endorsement. The event, slated to begin at 9 pm, was delayed by more than an hour and half, with Malaika not only making a fashionably late entry after it had stopped raining in the city, but then went on to barely spend any time with the media that had been waiting patiently for her. Photographers were allotted all of 3-4 minutes as she made a few obligatory poses, completed her commitment and left. Infuriated members of the media, who’d been waiting for nearly two hours were seen arguing with the event organizers.
Malaika’s delay could not be attributed to a late flight and the commute from the airport to the venue, as she was in the city earlier in the day. She had taken to social media to post about a south Indian meal that she had during her visit at a popular Andhra cuisine restaurant.
Meanwhile, Malaika, who is fresh off the success of her new 16-episode reality show Moving in with Malaika on Disney+Hotstar, is rumoured to be working on a second season. The show Moving in with Malaika was the actor’s attempt at showing the world a different side to herself as she bonded with family and friends. From replying to trolls to answering questions about her life, Malaika provided her point of view on various things with her OTT debut, Moving in with Malaika. In its 16-episode run, the show had many guests like Farah Khan, Nora Fatehi, Amrita Arora, Arhaan Khan and Neha Dhupia, all of who indulged in some candid conversations with Malaika on her career, relationships, future plans, competition, challenges and more.
