After four years of marriage, American singer Joe Jonas and British actress Sophie Turner announced their seperation. As this news came out, fans were extremely disappointed and shocked. The most recent stories indicate that anything other than the former couple's lifestyle decisions went wrong.
As a spouse, Joe Jonas was allegedly "less than supportive" after the couple welcomed their second kid in July 2022, according to TMZ sources. According to the most recent reports, Sophie Turner was having postpartum problems and preferred to maintain a low profile, but the singer was pressuring his wife to attend more events.
Joe Jonas was ‘less than supportive’
"After their youngest child was born a year ago in July, Sophie didn't want to leave home... She didn't want to be photographed or attend events. Nevertheless, she went to several events with Joe, but at one specific event, several people noticed how Sophie made it clear she was uncomfortable and didn't want to be there," a source close to the estranged couple told TMZ.
"Later, Joe complained Sophie was MIA and felt she needed to get out more when he attended another event shortly after. Then, It was clear that there was a strain in the relationship," the sources further added.
According to those close to Joe, there were 'challenges in the relationship,' but Joe 'was supportive' of Sophie, the site stated.
The most recent allegations surfaced just a few days after a number of press reports portrayed Sophie Turner as a party girl. According to an earlier TMZ article, Joe had grown frustrated with Sophie's excessive partying over the past three months. Notably, the former couple has lived apart for more than three months.
