Disney+ Hotstar revealed a massive line-up of English and Indian titles that will drop on the streaming platform on Disney Plus Day on November 12

Disney+ Hotstar subscribers can gear up for a November to remember! As many as 10 titles including Marvel’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Dwayne Johnson’s Jungle Cruise, Nivin Pauly’s Kanakam Kaamini Kalaham and Michael Keaton’s Dopesick are set to drop on the streaming platform as part of its Disney Plus Day on November 12.
While some of the movies have already had a theatrical release, films such as Kanakam Kaamini Kalaham and the sixth film from the Home Alone franchise – Home Sweet Home Alone – will be releasing exclusively on the platform on November 12. Apart from films and series such as Special Ops 1.5: The Himmat Story and The World According to Jeff Goldblum, several short films including Olaf Presents and an upcoming Simpsons shorts will also be premiering on the streaming platform on Disney Plus Day.
Here are some of the titles that must be on your binge-watch list:
Dopesick
The star-studded miniseries that has Michael Keaton, Will Poulter and Peter Sarsgaard in lead roles, is based on the book Dopesick: Dealers, Doctors and the Drug Company that Addicted America. The eight-episode series will premiere in India on Disney Plus Day.
The World According to Jeff Goldblum
The second season of the documentary series will once again follow the veteran actor as he explores the world around him and dives deep into the pop culture world of monsters, fireworks, dogs, magic and motorcycles. This season promises to be more fun as he strikes conversations with experts on the various topics.
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings
Shang-Chi, who leaves home at a young age, is forced to confront his past after being drawn into the Ten Rings organisation led by his father.
Special Ops 1.5: The Himmat Story
The espionage thriller, directed by Neeraj Pandey, revolves around the story of a young RAW agent named Himmat Singh (Kay Kay Menon) who chases a theory after the 2001 Indian Parliament attack.
Kanakam Kaamini Kalaham
The Malayalam comedy, directed by Android Kunjappan Ver. 5.25 filmmaker Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval, revolves around a couple - played by Nivin Pauly and Grace Antony - who checks into a hotel that has problems bigger than their own.
Olaf Presents
The snowman from Frozen (voiced by Josh Gad) takes on the role of producer, actor, costumer and more in the retelling of five popular animated Disney tales. He takes on the iconic roles of a genie, mermaid and more as he delights Arendelle with abbrevaited version of the stories.
Jungle Cruise
Dr Lily is determined to uncover an ancient tree that possesses the power to change the future of medicine. She enlists Frank Wolff's services to guide her along the Amazon river and on this epic adventure, the unlikely duo encounters innumerable dangers and supernatural forces.
Home Sweet Home Alone
The sixth movie in the Home Alone franchise follows 10-year-old Max Mercer who is accidentally left alone at his house and is forced to defend it against burglars who try to steal an invaluable family heirloom.
Under the Helmet: The Legacy of Boba Fett
The documentary will focus on the Star Wars character Boba Fett, who first appeared in the Return of the Jedi and was most recently seen in The Mandolarian series. The special episode will serve to discuss the bounty hunter's legacy and origins, ahead of the series, The Book of Boba Fett, which will premiere in December.
