After making his musical debut with the mesmerizing score in the Mani Ratnam directed cult film ‘Roja’, there was absolutely no looking back for the musical maestro
A R Rahman. What followed after that were an array of hits, superhits and smash hit music. Be it his music in films or his vocal magic as a playback singer or even his singles, everything was magical about him. he has to his credit, of having created magical musical scores for more than 150 films in many languages including Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu, Malayalam, English, Mandarin as well as Persian! He even made our nation proud by bagging the much-coveted Oscar award for his ‘Jai Ho’ track. Besides all this, A R Rahman also conducts musical concerts, which mostly flaunts the ‘houseful’ board globally.

Speaking of musical concerts, one such musical concert was organized recently in Pune. The crowd was totally swooning to the musical beats that A R Rahman had created. Little did they know that they had surpassed the deadline of 10 pm. No sooner did they surpass the deadline of 10 pm, a policeman walked up on stage and signaled A R Rahman and his team to wrap up the event by pointing out at his wristwatch, in order to indicate that the et deadline for the event is done. This was the time when A R Rahman was performing to the smash hit track ‘Chhaiiya Chaiyya’.

To everyone’s surprise, A R Rahman took to social media and called the whole thing a ‘Rockstar moment’. The musical maestro shared the video and ‘captioned’ it as, "Did we all just have the “Rockstar” moment on stage yesterday? I think we did! We were overwhelmed by the love of the audience and kept wanting to give more. Pune, thank you once again for such a memorable evening. Here’s a little snippet of our roller coaster ride ;) (sic)." There was also a caption in the video which stated, ‘By the way, we had a rockstar moment too (wink emoji)' as the police walked on to the stage’. The musician A R Rahman was heard saying, "I think we went overboard with love and overboard time. That's it. Timing is over. I like this."

On the film’s front, after having done a successful musical score in film maker's Mani Ratnam's magnum opus ‘Ponniyin Selvan: Part 2’, A R Rahman has films including ‘Maidaan’, ‘Pippa’, Laal Salaam’, ‘Gandhi Talks’ in Bollywood and southern films including ‘Ayalaan’, 'Maamannan’, ‘Aadujeevitham’ in his kitty.
