Nawazuddin Siddiqui is all set to play an intelligent cop in an upcoming murder thriller titled Rautu Ka Raaz. The film is slated to release on June 28. After releasing the trailer, the makers have now shared a new teaser from the film where Nawaz's character is confused that in a town that is so slow and silent, how can a murder take place?

Sharing the teaser, the makers captioned it - "Rautu ajeeb hai aur yahan ka raaz ussey bhi zyada... Jald khulega yeh raaz! #RautuKaRaaz premieres 28th June, only on #ZEE5"

Rautu Ka Raaz is a light-hearted murder mystery in which the talented actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui tries to play an intelligent cop. The narrative of the film revolves around the death of a warden that takes place mysteriously at a blind school in Rautu Ki Beli. Rautu is termed as a sleepy town by the makers where no crime has been registered over a decade and a half. As soon as the murder takes place, Nawaz's SHO Deepak Negi and sub-inspector Dimri, played by Rajesh Kumar step in to take the case into their hands.
The film promises a mystery thriller that will unravel the laziest murder investigation ever.
The film is directed by Anand Surapur and stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Rajesh Kumar, Atul Tiwari, and Narayani Shastri in important roles. Set in the picturesque village of Rautu Ki Beli in Uttarakhand, the film had its Gala Premiere at the 54th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) last year, where it received a warm welcome.
