Supriya Pathak got married to Pankaj Kapur in 1988. The actress and her husband Pankaj are blessed with two children - a son Ruhaan and a daughter Sanah. Before Surpiya, the veteran actor was married to Neelima Azeem for a few years. They got divorced in 1984. Kapur has a son, Shahid Kapoor, from his former wife Neelima.
Though Shahid is Supriya's stepson, the senior actress considers him like her own kid. In a recent interview, the Satyaprem Ki Katha actress mentioned how her bond with Shahid has evolved over time.

During the promotions of her Gangster Ganga, Supriya spilled the beans on her equation with Shahid. The 62-year-old said that Shahid is like her son and his kids, Zain and Misha, are her grandchildren.
"Shahid is my son and his kids are my grandchildren. I share a great bond with both my grandchildren and as a family, we all put in efforts to strengthen our bonds. We are very family-oriented and believe in sticking together through thick and thin. I feel as generations pass, the bonds within families evolve. I have a friendlier and more open relationship with my daughter than I had with my mother," she told news agency ANI.

The film has been written and directed by Aatish Kapadia. It is collectively produced by Hats Off Production, Junglee Pictures, and Star Studios. As for the star cast, it includes Rajeev Mehta, Anang Desai, Vandana Pathak, J.D Majethia, Kirti Kulhari, and more. Khichdi 2 will hit the big screen on November 17, 2023.
