The more, the merrier! This phrase is apt for Ahmed Khan's Welcome to the Jungle. The comic caper, which boasts an ensemble star cast, is currently being shot in Mumbai. While three film schedules are already shot, the star cast of Welcome to the Jungle will soon come under one roof for a massive dance number. Buzz is that Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Raveena Tandon and others are currently gearing up for the dance track, which also includes 200 background dancers.
According to a Mid-Day report, more than 10 actors from Welcome to the Jungle will come together in the next few days for a grand dance number. As per the report, filmmaker Ahmed Khan has envisioned the song to be shot on a grand scale with 200 background dancers.
"While the background dancers began their rehearsals last week, the actors have been separately practicing their steps with the choreographer and his team for the past few days. The idea is to be fully prepped before they face the camera on Saturday at Royal Palms in Goregaon," a source told the tabloid.
The source added that Ahmed will have a 500-member crew working on this song over seven days, wherein the actors will shoot their individual and joint sequences. And if things go as planned, the Mumbai schedule will wrap up by May-end.
Meanwhile, Welcome to the Jungle's star cast includes Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, Disha Patani, Shreyas Talpade, Johnny Lever, Sharib Hashmi, Rajpal Yadav, Mukesh Tiwari, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda and others. The film is being bankrolled by Firoz Nadiadwala and Jyoti Deshpande. It is scheduled for a theatrical release on December 20, 2024.
