Welcome 3: Amid Raveena Tandon joining Akshay Kumar, are Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar rejecting the film?

Just today, we informed you that Akshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon would be reuniting on film for the first time in almost two decades. According to rumours, both stars will reunite for Welcome To The Jungle, the third installment in the Welcome franchise.

Now if reports are to be believed, Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar have also walked out of Welcome 3 and it is said that Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi might replace them. Anil's replacement, according to earlier reports, was brought about by his outrageous demand of Rs. 18 crores for the film.

According to recent news reports, Anil and Nana withdrew from Welcome 3 as a result of the producer Firoz Nadiadwala's dishonest behavior while Welcome Back (2015) was being made. As reported by ETimes, "Apparently, the production was mismanaged, payments were delayed, and even TDS was not paid leading to financial losses for not just Kapoor but other actors and technicians as well. It is said that there was a huge showdown with Nana Patekar also because of Firoz's unprofessional behaviour."

On Christmas 2024, the third franchise of Welcome, officially titled Welcome To The Jungle, will be released. Although Akshay Kumar will return to the series, Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi will play the roles of Uday Bhai and Majnu Bhai because Anil and Nana declined to join the project. Anees Bazmee directed Welcome and Welcome Back, but according to reports, Ahmed Khan will take the reins for Welcome 3.
