Watch Rachel David’s Sihi and her love for Darling Krishna’s Aadi in Ee Prema

Shortly after releasing the video of the song O Nidhima, one of the most crucial numbers in the Love Mocktail 2, actor-director Darling Krishna today dropped yet another song. Called Ee Prema, the song composed by Nakul Abhyankar and sung by Ramya Bhat encapsulates the love track between Sihi and Aadi, right from her school days, when she’d visit her cousin Vijay’s family and developed a crush on Aadi, to telling him about her feelings for him and then taking him to meet her grandpa for his approval of their match.

Mollywood actress Rachel David forayed into Kannada cinema with Love Mocktail 2 as Sihi, Darling Krishna’s Aadi’s new ‘love interest’. Love Mocktail 2 is the sequel to the 2020 hit Love Mocktail, directed and produced by Krishna. The original film revolved around his character Aadi, and the three loves of his life, in school (Vibha Kallianpur as Reema), college (Amrutha Iyengar as Joshita/Jo) and as a working professional (Milana Nagaraj as Nidhi/Nidhima).

In Love Mocktail, Aadi eventually finds his soulmate in Nidhima, only to lose her to cancer by the end of it. Love Mocktail 2 opens two years after the events of the original film, with Aadi still pining for Nidhima. To get him out of his depression, his best buddies Vijay (Abhilash) and Sushma (Kushi Achar) try to hook him up with someone new in the hope that time heals and that Aadi will be able to find love again. The only person he does take a fancy to is Sihi, Vijay’s cousin.

Krishna was widely commended for how he managed to weave Sihi into the story of Love Mocktail and that she was actually witness to a lot of the happenings in the original tale.
