South actor Allu Arjun, who has been enjoying the success of his recently released film, Pushpa 2: The Rule, has been arrested by the Telangana police over the death of a fan during the premiere of the same film. The death incident took place in a theatre in Hyderabad, on December 4. Now, a video shows Allu planting a kiss on his wife Sneha Reddy after getting arrested.

A video on Instagram shows, Allu Arjun planting a kiss on his wife, Sneha Reddy's cheek after getting arrested over Hyderabad stampede had left a 39-year-old woman dead and her son critical. Arjun was dressed in Pushpa 2 merchandise and sipping a coffee as he stood with his wife, Allu Sneha Reddy, brother Allu Sirish, and father, Allu Aravind.

The police waited for him to finish his coffee before taking him into custody. Arjun told the police, “We can go now, sir, I’m done with my coffee.” When the police told him they’d been honoring everything he asked for, he replied, “Sir, you haven’t honored anything. I told you I wanted to change my clothes and send one person up with me. You’re not wrong to take me in, but it’s too much to come up to my bedroom. That’s not good.”
The video also captured Aravind trying to ride with Arjun in the police vehicle, but the actor and the police do not agree to it. Arjun made Aravind get out of the police vehicle after he tried to get in and said, “Only I should get whatever credit comes out of this, be it good or bad.”
Meanwhile, officers said the police had no prior information that the film's team would arrive for the premiere. The actor was taken into custody on December 13 by a team from Chikkadpally police station, where the case was registered. The actor will be produced before a magistrate.
Deputy Commissioner of Police of Central Zone, Hyderabad Police, Akshansh Yadav told Indian Express, "It is being investigated. Stringent action as per law will be taken against all the persons responsible for the chaotic situation inside the theatre leading to the death of a person and injury to others."
