In February 2023, K-drama actor and singer Lee Seung-gi, popular for his shows The Mouse and The Law Cafe, took to his Instagram page to reveal that he was getting married to fellow actor Lee Da-in.
The couple had made their relationship official in May 2021. They reportedly started seeing each other in 2020.
Seung-gi and Da-in got married in an intimate, private ceremony with tight security at an upscale Seoul hotel on Friday.
It is reported that no guests were allowed to take any videos or pictures, but some videos and pictures from the ceremony managed to make their way onto social media. They have now gone viral.
In the clip, Seung-gi, standing besides Da-in, can be seen wiping his eyes as he got emotional during the ceremony.
After they were pronounced man and wife, Seung-gi even sang to his blushing new wife.
As an additional treat, singer and actor Lee Hong-ki, who was one of the guests, sang a special number for the couple.
After some videos and pictures started doing the rounds online, fans of the couple have not been able to keep calm, commenting on the wedding and congratulating Seung-gi and Da-in.
Seung-gi is an actor, singer, host, and entertainer. He became popular with his role in dramas such as Brilliant Legacy (2009), My Girlfriend Is a Gumiho (2010), The King 2 Hearts (2012), Gu Family Book (2013), You're All Surrounded (2014), A Korean Odyssey (2017), Vagabond (2019), and Mouse (2021). He last appeared in The Law Cafe in 2022.
Da-in is better known as the daughter of veteran actress Kyun Mi-ri and the youngest sister of actor Lee Yu-bi. She was last seen in the 2020 series Alice and will be seen next in Lovers, which is slated to release this year.
