Janhvi Kapoor was asked if she hinted at her wedding (with Shikhar Pahariya). The question caught her attention, and her eyes widened on hearing it. "Janhvi, is there some wedding news?," the reporter asked. Promptly, she also used body language (head shake in disbelief and hand on brain) to tell the reporter, "Are you mad?" She then continued playing with her ring and ignored the paparazzo after.

Gulshan Devaiah's response

While Janhvi did not pay heed to the question later, Gulshan Devaiah was all for it. The reporter continued asking what is the secret but the cast, including Roshan and Janhvi ignored her. Janhvi however did mention that the secret will be out a day later.

He asked the pap what secret, who said that she popped the question after looking at Janhvi's Instagram story. The reporter continued asking for a hint but Janhvi continued ignoring her. She even made faces and spoke to Roshan as the interaction between Gulshan and the paparazzo progressed. He then joked how much would they pay him to spill the secret, and demanded Rs. 5 lakhs.

Shikhar also unintentionally gathered artists on stage.

Boney Kapoor's nod for Shikhar Pahariya

The wedding rumours grew stronger after Boney Kapoor made a statement about Shikhar Pahariya. The filmmaker, father to Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor (apart from Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor), said that he is really fond of Shikhar. This gave light to Janhvi's wedding rumours. According to reports, Janhvi and Shikhar are already engaged (and probably secretly married, but from Janhvi's reaction, that just might not be the case).
