Today morning, everyone woke up to the news of the passing away of the legendary Ameen Sayani, who happens to be the radio land’s magical voice. Right from Anupam Kher to film maker Anil Sharma and many of the ‘deewane’ of the late Ameen Sayani took to social media and poured their hearts out in his memory. Joining them was none other than Bollywood’s very own ‘bhidu’ Jackie Shroff.
Taking to social media, Jackie Shroff posted a video that featured him sitting on the ground along with the late Ameen Sayani, who was seated on a wheelchair. Both Jackie Shroff and Ameen Sayani were heard singing the iconic track of ‘Meri aawaaz hi meri pehchaan hai’. Jackie Shroff, in his trademark manner of expressing his love, held the hands of Ameen Sayani very tightly and affectionately placed a kiss on his shoulders.

Ameen Sayani, on his part, can be heard telling Jackie Shroff that he was extremely happy to meet him always. He also termed him as one of the greatest film stars and heroes! After having heard those words from the legendary man himself, Jackie Shroff started looking elsewhere as he had become extremely emotional and was trying to control his tears.
After posting the said video, Jackie Shroff did not write anything for the caption. All that he posted was a heart shaped emoji, which was emotional enough to decipher his love and affection for Ameen Sayani.
Taking to the comments section was actress Richa Chadha, who wrote, “Thank you for sharing....Immortal voice or an immoral artist”. Another user posted, “Jackie Dada this is emotionally so overwhelming . Am in tears”. There was an user who wrote, “Great legend, great personality. No one will and no can match Ameenji. His voice unmatched. Can never forget Binaca Geet Mala. Our favourite radio program. Love you always Sir”.
