NTR is the man of the moment as news came out that he has okayed War 2 with Yash Raj Films. Ayan Mukerji will direct this film and Hrithik Roshan will also play one of the leads in this action packed drama. The pre-production of the film is happening at a brisk pace and we have come to know that NTR will shoot for War 2 even before starting his film with Prashanth Neel.
On the other hand, we are very well aware that Yash Raj Films approached star hero Prabhas for Dhoom 4 and War 2, but he rejected those offers despite being offered big bucks. Well, we have now come to know exclusively that star hero, Vijay Deverakonda was also approached by Yash Raj camp but he too did not show interest in the film.
But as changes were made to the script, the makers freshly approached NTR and he showed interest in the project right away. As Ayan Mukherjee was directing the film, his belief in the project has become quite strong. This will be the first ever Hindi film for NTR after RRR's Pan-India release. The star hero in all his RRR promotions said that he would love to do action packed Hindi films as well.
Now that the south vs north divide has been cleared, big Hindi banners are looking at crossover stars so that their film gets more mileage. In the same way, big Hindi stars are also doing Telugu films these days. Bobby Deol will be seen in Pawan Kalyan's Hari Hara Veera Mallu which also has Jacqueline Fernandez as the female lead.
