Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR have allotted 60 days to shoot for the sequel of the action-packed film, War 2.

Hrithik Roshan was last seen in Siddharth Anand's Fighter co-starring Deepika Padukone. The film, which was an aerial action thriller did not collect up to the expectations at the box office. However, the actor is now all set for his most-awaited upcoming film, War 2. Since the time it was known that the film was in the works, fans have been waiting for every minor update of the film. The film became more exciting when it was known that South superstar Jr NTR had joined the film as a villain. Now, the recent update reveals that both the actors have allotted 60 days to shoot for the sequel of the action-packed film.
A source tells Bollywood Hungama that Hrithik Roshan is currently busy filming his entry scene which is touted to be action-packed. The source was quoted as saying, "He is shooting for his entry sequence and it’s an action-packed stint. Hrithik has allotted merely 55 to 60 days for War 2 and most of the film will be shot at studios in Mumbai. Interestingly, it will be a wrap for Hrithik on War 2 by June 2024, and it’s among those films which he will conclude in record time."
For the uninitiated, Hrithik began shooting War 2 at YRF in Mumbai on March 7.
Jr NTR allot 60 days for War 2 shoot
Further, revealing details about Jr NTR's shooting schedule, the source said that the actor will begin shooting for the film in April and will wrap it up by July. "Much like Hrithik, Jr. NTR too has allotted 60 days to shoot for War, which includes 25 to 30 days of combination shoot. YRF has mastered the art of mounting big films efficiently – as this template neither requires more days of shoot from actors nor does it add on to the budget," the source shared.
Not just the shooting schedules, but the source also gave an insight into how YRF is getting more advanced with the technology of shooting their feature films. Ayan Mukerji has reportedly already shot for two overseas schedules that did not involve the lead stars. "It’s the most modern technology where outdoor shoots in action space are done with body doubles and the makers then swap the faces using VFX,” the source told the portal.
Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR starrer War 2 is the 6th addition to the YRF Spy Universe. It will be followed by Alia Bhatt and Sharvari's yet-to-be-titled next, directed by Shiv Rawail. Post this, the production house will work on Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan 2 before starting one of their biggest film Tiger Vs Pathaan with SRK and Salman Khan.
