Waltair Veeraiya Teaser: Ravi Teja is ACP Vikram Sagar in the action-packed film

The makers of Chiranjeevi and Ravi Teja's Walter Veeraiya dropped the first-look teaser of Ravi Teja in the film. In the teaser that spans almost a minute, the actor is seen performing some heavy-duty high-octane action sequences in the film and delivering one punchline after the other, that too, in the Telangana slang. In the opening scene, he is seen carrying a lamb and the voiceover goes, "For the first time, a tiger is carrying a lamb in her arms." The actor essays the role of a cop named Vikram Sagar.

Sharing the teaser on his social media handle, Ravi Teja wrote, "Ravi Teja also shared his first look teaser from the film and wrote, “Delighted to be sharing my First Look Teaser from #WaltairVeerayya. Reporting as ACP Vikram Sagar this Sankranthi.”

The film is helmed by Bobby Kolli and he took the opportunity to thank Chiranjeevi and Ravi Teja for giving him the opportunity to direct them both. He wrote on his social media handle, "He is always my POWER Presenting you all The Mass Maharaja @RaviTeja_offl garu's First Look Teaser from our #WaltairVeerayya (sic)." He added, "Thank you Megastar @KChiruTweets sir, Mass Maharaja @RaviTeja_offl & Mythri Movie Makers for making this happen. Fans, Movie lovers gear up for MMMassive entertainment this sankranthi! (sic)."

Walter Veeraiya has Shruti Haasan and Catherine Tresa in the lead and has music by Devi Sri Prasad. Cinematography is by Arthur R Wilson and editing is by Niranjan Devaramane. Stunt sequences are choreographed by Ram and Lakshman. The film is bankrolled by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers and is slated to hit screens on January 13.

Ravi Teja will also be seen in Dhamaka and the teaser of the film is likely to be out on December 15. The film is said to be an action comedy, written and directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina. Star cast includes Ravi Teja, Sree Leela and Jayaram.
