Waiting to watch Singham Again on OTT? Here's where to stream Ajay Devgn's film...

Singham Again on OTT: As fans eagerly await the release of Rohit Shetty’s newest addition to his cop series Singham, Singham Again, the makers have revealed that the thriller drama film will be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video after its theatrical run. Starring Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Arjun Kapoor in pivotal roles, the third installment in the Singham series is slated to be released in theatres on Independence Day 2024.

Singham Again on OTT: Amazon Prime Video bags the rights to Rohit Shetty's film

The revelation about Amazon Prime Video bagging the rights for Singham Again was revealed at a press conference held earlier today. At the same event, the streaming giant gave a rundown of several of its Indian projects and other star-studded film rights, such as Tamil superstar Suriya's fantasy film, Kanguva.

Arjun Kapoor to play a villain in Singham Again

Last month, Arjun Kapoor's villainous look from Singham Again was revealed on his Instagram handle. Arjun posted two pictures of himself, one soaked in blood and another in which he is seen locking eyes with Ranveer Singh. He captioned the post, “Singham ka villain! Feeling on top of the world being a part of hit-machine Rohit Shetty sir’s cop universe! I promise you there will be mayhem.”

Sharing Arjun's first look, filmmaker Rohit Shetty called his character the "devil". He wrote on Instagram, "Insaan galati karta hai, aur usse uski saza bhi milti hai... Lekin ab jo aayega, wo shaitaan hai (Man commits mistakes, and he gets punishment for that too...But now whoever comes, is the devil!)! CAN I SAY - INTRODUCING ARJUN KAPOOR!"

Singham Again is the third installment in the cop universe created by Roht Shetty and a sequel to Singham Returns (2014). The official announcement of the film was made in September 2017 under the title Singham 3, while the official title, Singham Again, was announced in December 2022.

New characters

With Singham Again, director Rohit Shetty is introducing new characters into his cop universe, such as Deepika Padukone as policewoman Shakti Shetty, Tiger Shroff as ACP Satya, and Arjun Kapoor as the villain. Ajay reprises his role as Bajirao Singham, while Kareena plays his wife from Singham Returns. The film will have cameos by Ranveer Singh as Simmba and Akshay Kumar as Sooryavanshi.
