Vyooham trailer - Sai Sushanth Reddy is an earnest cop tackling a hit-and-run case

After launching Kumari Srimathi and Dhootha - two consecutive Telugu shows that garnered impressive viewership and enjoyed critical acclaim, leading streaming platform Amazon Prime Video is back with another web series. Their next Telugu original is Vyooham, a crime thriller bringing together Sai Sushanth Reddy, Chaitanya Krishna, Preethi Asrani, Pavani Gangireddy in key roles.

While the show releases on OTT tomorrow, the trailer was launched today. The tale unfolds through the lens of Arjun, an earnest cop who’s true to his profession and wants to make the ‘system’ work. He is asked to handle a hit-and-run case where a pregnant woman is injured, resulting in the death of their unborn child. The father approaches the cop for justice and Arjun is desperate to find answers.

However, as he digs deeper into the complex case, Arjun suspects a connection with terrorists, trained criminals, a suspended cop. Though he’s getting closer to the larger truth, he’s running out of time. His superiors are however adamant that Arjun wraps up the case quickly but the victimised father pleads for justice. Meanwhile, we get to see a few glimpses of Arjun’s past and how his mother asks him to be ‘fearless’.

The show promises interesting twists, commendable performances and a gripping screenplay. The lineup of Vyooham comprises Shashank, Ravindra Vijay as well. The web series is written and directed by Sashikanth Srivaishnav Peesapati. Sriram Maddury, who worked on shows like Loser, Vadhuvu, is the composer. Actor-producer Supriya Yarlagadda has bankrolled Vyooham under Annapurna Studios.

Sai Murali is the editor while Rekha Boggarapu is the costume designer. K Sidhardha Reddy has cranked the camera. Anand Reddy Karnati is the executive producer with Kiran Kumar Manne handing art direction duties. Adhip Iyer is the creative producer. Other shows produced by Annapurna Studios include the sports drama Loser for ZEE5, The Baker and The Beauty for aha.
