'Kantara' is certainly the buzzword of the season as the film continues to sweep the global audience off its feet. Aside from the extraordinary box office exploits, Rishab Shetty's film has been attracting appreciation posts and messages from celebrities of the highest repute: Prabhas, Dhanush, Karthi, Kangana Ranaut, and Shilpa Shetty are some of the many celebs who have raved about the Kannada film.

And the latest entrant to this elite list is filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri who finally took to social media to share his big-screen experience of Kantara. The Kashmir Files was implored consistently by many of his followers to watch the film and having done so, he couldn't help but shower praise on the film and term it a piece of art.

"Kantara is such a unique experience that you would have not watched a film like this before. And hat's off to Rishab Shetty - Rishab, you've done great, great work and I am going to call you tomorrow to discuss the film. But I just couldn't stop myself from sharing the experience because this film is so full of art, and folklore, and it's so rooted. Such a novel experience - especially the climax of the film. The kind of energy it withholds, I can promise that you would have never experienced anything like that before. The first thing you can do, perhaps after finishing Diwali, is to go and watch Kantara - I think this is Rishab Shetty's masterpiece, one of the finest films I have watched in a long time. And congratulations to Rishab for making such a wonderful film, great art, great music, great cinematography," said Vivek Agnihotri in a video message.

Quite indeed, Kantara has managed to enthral audiences from all walks of life and has become the latest biggest global export from the Kannada Cinema Industry. At the box office, the film has already grossed over Rs. 200 crores across the world.
