Earlier, in an interview on the YouTube channel of Rajshri Productions, Amrita Rao talked about the impack of Vivah on her life. She said, "When Vivah came out, I got these marriage proposals and since we didn’t have that many smartphones back then, I mostly got letters from men from Canada and the US. They always sent me photos of their house, their mothers and their cars. Back then, I used to laugh at these things. But when I look back on it now, I think of the impact a role has: they just want to marry you. It was so magical."
