Director Gokul, who is teaming up with Vishnu Vishal for a high-octane action film, has now revealed that there will be ‘wacky and intense action sequences’ in the movie, which will also see Vishnu Vishal in a negative role. As per an interview given by the director to DT Next, Vishnu Vishal will be playing the antagonist alongside another big star who will be playing a character with ‘positive shades’.

Has director Gokul’s Corona Kumar been shelved?
As reported earlier, the maiden collaboration between the Ratchasan actor and Gokul will be another interesting film from the director. Gokul, who rose to fame through the 2013 superhit film Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara, starring Vijay Sethupathi, went on to make films like Kaashmora and Junga. The director had earlier mentioned that he will be working on the sequel of Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara which has been titled Corona Kumar. However, the movie has been shelved for the time being due to issues between Silambarasan (who was set to play the lead) and the makers of the film.
Now that the director is gearing up to commence the shooting for this untitled project with Vishnu Vishal, the director’s Corona Kumar looks to have been pushed further.
