We had earlier reported that actor Vishnu Vishal will be once again teaming up with Ratsasan and Mundaasupatti-fame director Ram Kumar for a film tentatively titled VV 21. The actor took to social media on Saturday to share that the third schedule of the film is ongoing in Kodaikanal.
The actor shared photographs of himself and the director taken at the landscape they were shooting. The film is backed by Sathya Jyothi Films.

Vishnu Vishal is currently shooting for the third schedule of his upcoming film, VV 21. It is directed by Ram Kumar. Dropping photos from the shooting spot, Vishnu Vishal posted, "On to the third schedule of #vv21 ..With the master @dir_ramkumar at work ... Expect the unexpected."

It is to be noted that this is Vishnu Vishal's third association with the director, after Mundaasupatti (2014) and Ratsasan (2018). VV 21 is bankrolled by Sathya Jyothi Films production banner, which recently made Dhanush-starrer Captain Miller. The makers have yet to reveal the other details of the film, including the cast and technical crew members.
Vishnu Vishal’s upcoming line-up
Vishnu Vishal was last seen in the sports drama Lal Salaam. The film, directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth, also stars Rajinikanth and Vikranth. The film is currently running in theatres. Vishnu Vishal is also set to join hands with director Chella, with whom he previously worked in the sports drama Gatta Kusthi. The film, tentatively called VVS 11, will be backed by the actor’s home banner, Vishnu Vishal Studioz.
He will also be collaborating with director Gokul on a high-octane action film. It is expected that the actor will play a negative role in the film, which will have dark comedy elements. Touted to be based on true events, the shooting will commence within a few months.
Meanwhile, Vishnu Vishal will also be launching his brother Rudra with Oho Enthan Baby. It was also revealed that Mithila Palkar will be playing the female lead, marking her Tamil debut.
