Malayalam film, Vishesham, is all set to have a theatrical release soon. The makers of this comedy drama have confirmed that it would hit the big screen on July 19. Sooraj Tom is the director of Vishesham, which is billed as a promising comedy family entertainer.

The film aims to enthral viewers with its endearing story and intriguing storytelling style. The makers claim that its feel-good story revolves around the marriage of two middle-aged people who fall in love and the social stigma they encounter as a result.

A preview of the humorous yet thought-provoking plot is provided by the teaser. Anand's character captures the spirit of the common person reaching great heights by expressing happiness at being recognised as a hero, in the 50-second clip. Deviating from conventional norms, Vishesham presents a story that honours the common person as a hero in and of themselves, challenging stereotypes connected to the male hero archetype.

A glimpse into the lives of Shiju and his wife Sajitha, as well as their search for a miracle, is provided by the teaser. Set in Kochi, the humorous film also tells the story of the stigma associated with not having a child as well as fertility treatments in today's world.

Vishesham cast and crew

Sooraj Tom is known for his films such as Krishnankutty Pani Thudangi, Pa.Va, and Ente Mezhuthiri Athazhangal. Vishesham will mark music director Anand Madhusoodanan's acting debut. Renowned for his hits like "Podimeesa Mulakkana Kaalam," Anand also wrote the screenplay for Vishesham.

The female lead is played by Chinnu Chandni. The supporting cast of the film includes Baiju Johnson, Althaf Salim, Johny Antony, Vineeth Thattil, P P Kunhikrishnan, Suraj Pops, Sijo Johnson, Shyni Sara Rajan, Ajitha Nambiar, Jilu Joseph, and Maala Parvathi. This movie was financed by Ani Sooraj under the Step2Films banner. Kurian C Mathew and Albert Paul are the project's executive producers.
