Based on the trailer, Mark Antony is a fantasy movie that revolves around a scientific breakthrough. A mad scientist invented a telephone that would allow its users to travel back and forth in time. However, that invention is not used to prevent great wars or gruesome tragedies that have befallen human civilisation over the last few centuries. It is used to settle some personal scores among the megalomaniac gangsters, who seem to have great taste in flamboyant fashion.
Judging from the trailer, Mark Antony seems to have given SJ Suryah a lot of scope to show off his unique talent in playing eccentric characters. He plays a philandering gangster with a lot of stomach for violence. And his performance seems to be the main source of comedy in this sci-fi-masala-drama.
