The hit combo of Vishal and Hari is back for the third time. The duo had earlier worked together in films like Thamirabharani and Poojai and their collaboration has made fans excited. The pooja of the film, which is tentatively being referred to as Vishal34, was held this morning.
Vishal dropped pictures from the ceremony on his social media handle and wrote that he was glad to team up with Hari again. He wrote, "Super excited to join hands with Director Hari Sir for a 3rd time, It’s going to be a blast and I am looking forward to it, GB #Vishal34 Produced by @stonebenchers and @ZeeStudiosSouth @kaarthekeyens @karthiksubbaraj (sic)." Music for the film will be by Devi Sri Prasad. The film is slated to be a massive action entertainer, which the duo is known for.
Vishal and Hari's Poojai (2014), which starred Shruti Haasan in the lead, opened to mixed reviews from the critics but gained popularity over the time when the film was aired multiple times on television. On the other hand, the action drama Thaamirabarani (2007), which was Hari and Vishal's maiden combo, opened to positive reviews.
In the meantime, Vishal is all set to wrap the shoot of Mark Antony. The actor had shared yesterday that he was completing shooting for a single sequence and that only one day's shoot remained. Mark Antony is helmed by Adhik Ravichandran and has SJ Suryah playing the antagonist. The film's posters have already set the bar high and the film is said to be a heavy-duty action entertainer.
The film was recently in the news after a freak accident on the sets where a vehicle lost control and rammed into the sets. Vishal and SJ Suryah revealed that they had escaped by a whisker. The star cast includes Sunil, Y Gee Mahendran, Ritu Varma, and Redin Kingsley to name a few.
