How would one feel if when one goes to roam around and their house is being invaded by people whom one does not know? This is what happened to former Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli who shared a disturbing video of his hotel room privacy being invaded.

In the video shared by Kohli himself, a person can be seen showing off the batter's hotel room with the writing "King Kohli's hotel room" written on it.

Kohli took to social media to share how he felt after the video started doing the rounds and wrote a post on Instagram.

"I understand that fans get very happy and excited seeing their favourite players and get excited to meet them and I’ve always appreciated that. But this video here is appalling and it’s made me feel very paranoid about my privacy," he said in a long post on Instagram.

He added, "If I cannot have privacy in my own hotel room, then where can I really expect any personal space at all?? I’m NOT okay with this kind of fanaticism and absolute invasion of privacy. Please respect people’s privacy and not treat them as a commodity for entertainment".

Kohli's wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma also spoke about the issue and said how she too faced similar incidents.

She took to her Instagram story and wrote, "Have experienced few incidents where some fans have shown no compassion or grace in the past but this really is the worst thing. An violation of a human being and anyone who sees this and thinks "celebrity ho! tho deal karna padega" should know that you are also part of the problem".

She also added, "Exercising some self-control helps everyone. Also, if this happened in your bedroom then where is the line?
