Virat Kohli on Anushka Sharma’s motherhood journey: She shot a whole film...

Actress Anushka Sharma and her cricketer husband Virat Kohli never miss an opportunity to show their love, support and admiration for each other. The couple has been setting couple goals on social media since their 2017 wedding in Italy. After being married for four years, they were blessed with a baby girl in 2021, who they named Vamika. The star cricketer has now come spoken about all the life lessons that he has learned from his wife.

During an interview with Wrogn, Virat shared insights into his relationship with Anushka Sharma. Virat said that they met each other as two individuals and that they are on their path of growing together as people. Virat said, “The personalities and identities subside very quickly and that is an amazing process.”

Anushka’s motherhood journey

Talking about Anushka as a mother, Virat said that Anushka’s strength is that she juggles her personal and professional lives successfully. He added that one can truly understand the strength of a woman when you see your partner becoming a mother. He said, “She's handled everything (so well). She even shot an entire film in between (being a new mother).”

Anushka’s advice to Virat

Reflecting on life lessons, Virat said that what he has learned from Anushka is to stand by the truth and hold his ground even when no one else is willing to believe or listen to you. “If you know you are standing by the truth, you don't have to worry because the path will carve itself out, and things will always be clean and separated,” he said.

Virat added that Anushka’s upbringing and Army background are what keep her rooted.
