There have been numerous reports about Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma permanently shifting to London with their kids - Akaay and Vamika. Now, in a recent interview, Virat's ex-coach, Rajkumar Sharma, confirmed that the couple will soon leave India and permanently shift to London to spend the rest of their lives with their kids.
In a new interview with Dainik Jagran, Virat Kohli's ex-coach, Rajkumar Sharma confirmed that Kohli would be leaving India with his wife Anushka Sharma and their kids Vamika and Akaay and shifting base to the UK, where he plans on spending the rest of his life post-retirement.
"Yes, Virat plans to move to London with his children and wife, Anushka Sharma. He is going to be leaving India and shifting very soon. However, right now, Kohli is spending most of his time with his family apart from cricket," Sharma told the portal.
"Virat is still very fit and not too old to retire. I believe that Virat will play cricket for five more years. Virat will also be seen playing in the 2027 World Cup," Shrama said.
He further added that the rapport between Virat and him is very good and he has known the cricketer well since he was not even 10 years old. "I have been with him for more than 26 years. That is why I can say that Virat still has a lot of cricket left in him," said Sharma.
Virat is currently playing the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Australia. His next assignement will be the Champions Trophy.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Anushka, who took a break from acting, will make a comeback with Chakda Xpress. In the film, she plays the role of female cricketer Jhulan Goswami.
